Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Dinh, Director of Institute of Philosophy presented at the seminar

In his presentation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Dinh clarified key points, including: What is socialism? Why does Vietnam choose the socialism path? How and by what means to gradually build socialism in Vietnam? What is the real situation of the path to socialism and what issues does it pose?

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Dinh analyzed the practice of renovation and socialism building in Vietnam in recent years and drew some lessons such as: (1) strongly promoting the creativity, support, and active participation of the people; (2) the people’s strength is the original source of victory and development; (3) the Party’s guidelines must come from the country’s reality along with research and reference from the practice of the world and the times; (4) Being always steadfast and firm on the theoretical foundation of Marxism-Leninism. Besides, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dang Quang Dinh emphasized the leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam and affirmed that its leadership is a decisive factor for the success of the renovation process and ensuring the country’s development in accordance with the socialist orientation./.
