Deputy Secretaries of the bloc’s Party Committee Le Van Chau and Ho Xuan Truong as well as representatives of leaders of units under the Party Committee of the Central Enterprise Bloc also joined the event.

On the side of HCMA, there were Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Duy Bac, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee, Standing Vice President of the Academy; comrades in the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, representatives of leaders of functional departments, specialized institutes of the HCMA and 92 course members.

The training course was held from November 30 to December 2, 2022 with the aim of contributing to successfully implementing the targets of Party building on cadres claimed in the Resolution of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress of the Central Business Bloc for the 2020-2025 term and the HCMA’s training program and plan for cadres.

Senior leaders and experts would provide the participants with 06 topics in order to consolidate, update and supplement the basic and core contents on building and rectifying the Party and the political system; the role and responsibility of Party committees and organizations in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation; the tasks of high-level Party committees in the leadership of building and organizing the Party and the contingent of party members in state-owned enterprises etc. This is an opportunity for course members to exchange and share experiences and methods to handle situations in each unit, together support and coordinate to better perform assigned tasks.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang expressed his pleasure to welcome comrades to study after 2 years interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic. Acknowledging and appreciating the results achieved by the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc in the prevention of the Covid-19 pandemic and post-pandemic socio-economic development, Prof., Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang affirmed the achievements gained by the Party Committee of the Central Business Bloc significantly contribute to the overall national goal.

Sharing information about the domestic and international situation, Prof., Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang asked comrades who are Secretaries, Deputy Secretaries of the bloc’s Party Committees and key leaders in enterprises to have adequate and updated theoretical thinking to serve their leadership and management. It contributes to successfully implementing the national innovation, industrialization and modernization, overcoming new challenges in the context of a rapidly changing world.

Resolutions of the Party Central Committee on strengthening Party building and rectification as well as the Resolution of the 3rd Party Congress of the Bloc for the 2020-2025 term clearly stated the key tasks: building a clean and strong Party Committee; promoting the will, strength of solidarity and capacity for innovation; continuing promoting restructuring and improving efficiency so that state-owned enterprises can maintain their key and leading roles in the socialist-oriented market economy; consolidating the organizational apparatus of the enterprises; promoting administrative reform; fighting against corruption and negativity; developing high-quality human resources and staff at all levels, especially key staff of the enterprises, etc.

In order to concretize the above objectives and requirements, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang suggested that lecturers should stick to the spirit of implementing Resolution of the 13th Party congress and Party Central meetings to thoroughly grasp the lessons’ content; understand the learners’ characteristics to choose appropriate teaching methods; select some contents for in-depth analysis and clarification; combine lectures with seminars and workshops to exchange practical experiences among students.
