At the ceremony, Dr. Dang Kim Oanh, Editor-in-Chief of the Vietnam Communist Party's History Review reported that the process of researching, proposing, and establishing an online version of the Vietnam Communist Party's History Review has been in development for many years.

The online Vietnam Communist Party's History Review officially launched to readers on the occasion of the 98th anniversary of Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day and the 40th anniversary of the first issue of the Vietnam Communist Party's History (1983-2023).

Dr. Dang Kim Oanh affirmed that the two types of activities and three publications: the printed Vietnam Communist Party's History Review (in Vietnamese and English) and the online Vietnam Communist Party's History Review, would help it to perform its functions, tasks, and purpose in an effective manner.

Of which, an important function and task is to study the theory of Marxism-Leninism and Ho Chi Minh Thought, the history of the Vietnam Communist Party, and information on research results and new documents on the history of the Communist Party of Vietnam and President Ho Chi Minh, thus contributing to the Party's ideological education.
