The event was attended by 500 workers and labourers in the coal industry, industrial clusters, and industrial parks in Quang Ninh.

Main contents related the Law on Social Insurance, Law on Housing, Law on Land, Law on Real Estate Business, Law on Trade Union, Law on Employment were discussed at the meeting.

Voters proposed a number of ideas and recommendations to the NA deputies, in which they expressed their wish that the locality pay attention to attracting investment to create new and sustainable jobs; propose an increase to regional minimum wages; develop policies on intensive training to improve skills, attract high-quality labourers to work in the area, and devise policies on housing, kindergartens, and educational support for workers' families to settle down.

In particular, the voters also proposed an amendment to the Law on Social Insurance in the direction of attracting large numbers of employees to participate, feel secure, and not withdraw insurance once.

On this occasion, the Quang Ninh Provincial National Assembly Delegation presented 100 gifts worth 100 million VND to workers living in difficult circumstances./.
