Your Excellency Ambassadors, diplomats and representatives of international organizations in Vietnam!

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen!

On the occasion of the 2023 New Year and the Vietnamese “Tet” Traditional New Year, on behalf of the Directorate of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics, I would like to send my best regards and warmest congratulations to the Ambassadors, diplomats and leaders of international organizations and international development cooperation agencies as well as all delegates. 

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen!

After a period of hiatus due to the Covid-19 epidemic, the year 2022 has marked the vibrant return of international cooperation activities of the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics in particular, the Party's diplomacy and external affairs and Vietnam's people-to-people diplomacy in general.

International cooperation activities of the entire Academy system, including the units and Member Academies in Hanoi, Da Nang, Ho Chi Minh City and Can Tho have increasingly improved the quality and efficiency both in size and depth, which has been actively and effectively contributing to the implementation of the Academy's key political tasks.

Over the past years, the Academy has worked closely with international partners to successfully organize a lot of important events; with 14 working delegations abroad, 36 visiting delegations; 29 international scientific seminars and  thematic reports for information sharing and academic exchanges; implementing 08 training courses and online classes, 14 rounds of thematic reports by international experts in the Advanced Political Theory Courses and title-based training courses; organizing conferences in the series of Local Development Forums; Vietnam-Laos, Vietnam-China high-level international conferences, Vietnam-Korea Forum,etc.

The Academy has been effectively implementing many programs, projects, and international cooperation activities with training, research and cooperation-development institutions, especially the Vietnam - Australia Center (VAC) Establishment and Capacity Building Project with the Embassy of Australia and Aus4skills Program; the Project with the Australian Human Rights Commission "Integrating human rights content in the curricula of the national education system"; and the Local Development Forum Project (with Indiana University, USA), "Integrating indicators of governance and public administration at the provincial level" (PAPI) with UNDP and “Policy Communication” with KOICA (Korea); the Global Samsung Program in 2022 for the leaders and managers of Vietnam; building the training and fostering programs for the new-term leaders and managers with JICA; the projects and cooperative activities with the World Bank, the Asian Development Bank, the FES Institute, the Rosa Luxemburg Foundation and others.

Distinguished Ladies and gentlemen!

On the occasion of the 2023 New Year and the Vietnamese “Tet”–Year of  the Golden Cat, I would like to raise a toast to our achievements in the past year! May I wish all of you, Ambassadors, representatives of diplomatic missions, international organizations and international development agencies and distinguished guests a happy, healthy and successful New Year! 

In 2023, we hope to continue close cooperation with Ambassadors, diplomats, leaders of international and development organizations so that together we can fulfill our missions.  May our cooperative relationship continuously strengthen and develop!
