Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang gave a speech at the workshop

Delivering his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Nguyen Xuan Thang affirmed the special position and role of improving the quality of grassroots Party organizations and Party members. He suggested that delegates discuss and concertize groups of solutions and tasks stated in Resolution No. 21-NQ/TW of the 5th Plenum of the 13th Central Committee on "Strengthening and consolidating, building the grassroots Party organization and improving the quality of Party members in the new period", especially for the 4 groups of tasks and solutions to strengthen and improve the leadership capacity and combat strength of grassroots Party organizations.

Overview of the workshop

At the workshop, delegates and scientists contributed valuable ideas on improving the quality of Party members in the new situation; development of Party members to create a successor source for the Party; education and training of revolutionary ethics for Party members; the role of trade unions and youth in the admission of Party members in various types of enterprises; promotion of the role of grassroots Party organizations in protecting the Party’s ideological foundation, fighting against wrong and hostile views in the new situation; review, selection and removal the Party members who are not eligible.

The scientific workshop contributed to clarifying theoretical and practical issues on improving the quality of grassroots Party organizations and Party members, helping Vinh Phuc Provincial Party Committee in particular and provincial and municipal Party Committees throughout the country find a feasible solution to improve the quality of grassroots Party organization and Party members in the coming time. ./.
